Roxybonds May Blog Hop

Welcome to the Roxybonds Scrappers Team Blog Hop!

This month we will be featuring artwork from the Claire and/or Buzz & Bumble paper pack.

I chose to feature Claire because I love the versatility of it.  I used a One Sheet Wonder template to create 16 cards using only ONE piece of  B&T paper!  I added 4 sheets of 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock and 1 sheet of 12x12 White Daisy cardstock to finish them up.

These cards have simple sentiments and will be used as Any Hero cards for Operation Write Home.  As a veteran myself (and the spouse of a veteran) this organization is near and dear to our hearts.  For more info about OWH can be found at www.operationwritehome.org

I hope you enjoy my projects and pay it forward by making a card for our nation's true heroes.

If you came here from Emma of  Lilypad Crafts you are on the right track. Next stop is Jen Patrick of Roxybonds Scrappin'.

Here is the complete lineup in case you get lost along the way.....

The Everything ABC's Blog Hop Letter J

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter J. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their J element will be featured in their post.

My card features Joy!  I think that everyone can use a little more joy in their day to day lives.  I used the retired Dotty for you paper to create this easy card.  I stamped the sentiment in Smoothie ink from a Christmas set!  Joy is not just seasonal!

Your next stop on our Everything ABC'S blog Hop is Lucy with Love 2 Create.

Pinwheel Fun!

Welcome to our May Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  This month's stamp from Close to My Heart is "Pinwheel" and is available exclusively through your Close to My Heart consultant from May 1 - 31, 2013.  You can purchase this stamp set for only $5 with a qualifying purchase.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Lucy's blog – Love 2Create.  If you came from Lucy of Love 2 Create then you are in the right place!

My project features the Claire paper pack and the May stamp of the month.

I am partial to this paper pack as my oldest daughter is names Claire and I just love the colors in it.  I cut out the pinwheel shapes with the Cricut Artiste cartridge at the sizes listed on the stamp of the month carrier.  I love how easy they make it to coordinate the images and sizes!  I used five different colors just to give it some spunk.

Supplies Used:

Claire paper pack (X7166B)
Pinwheel, May SOTM (S1305 or S1305A with qualified purchase)
Sweet Leaf ink (Z2153)
Cotton Candy ink (Z2193)
Honey ink (Z2162)
Sunset ink (Z2191)
Lagoon ink (Z2195)
Cricut Artiste collection (Z1790)
Sunset baker's twine (Z1702)

Art with an ATTITUDE

Welcome to the Stampers with an Attitude Blog Hop!

If you came from Melissa Robinson's blog then you are on the right track.  The Stampers with an Attitude are all excited to show you a little Art with an Attitude, so here we go.

This project is for teacher appreciation week.  My daughter's teachers are absolute rock stars so it is absolutely appropriate that they get pop rocks for the first day. This was so easy and simple to make as well.
I used the Dream Pop paper pack and the Whoo's Your Valentine stamp set (retired) from Close to my Heart to design this little wrapper.

I hope you enjoyed this little project and were inspired.  Your next stop on this hop is Melinda Everitt.
