The Everything ABC's Blog Hop: Letter U

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop! For this hop we will be featuring the letter U. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their U element will be featured in their post. When I think of the letter U, I think of Unique!  What could be more Unique than your own name?  A customer requested some cards to use to give out to her friends and customers.  Her first name started with an M so here is what I created for her.  I used many retired products for this card (sorry) but I always let my customers decide what colors and papers to use. If you are ever in need of custom greeting or note cards please let me know and I will do my best for you! July SOTM: 4 1/4" × 5 1/2" Friendship Is… Card

Helpful Hints To create the techniques featured in this artwork, follow the helpful hints outlined below. Then use the Make It from Your Heart®: Pattern 21 information found on page 43 of our how-to publication for inspiration. Cut two pieces of White Daisy cardstock that measure 3" × 2 1/2" and use one for piece D and the other for a stamping accent. Stamp the apple and vine image twice, once on D and once on the stamping accent; color images, as desired; trim image from stamping accent and attach directly over image on D. To add visual interest, repeatedly stamp sentiment on A, creating your own background pattern. Embellish with paper accents and accessories, adding dimension with 3-D foam tape as desired.

July SOTM: 12" × 12" Live the Sweet Life Page

Helpful Hints To create the techniques featured in this artwork, follow the helpful hints outlined below. Then use the Make It from the Heart®: Pattern 16—Left information found on page 36 of our how-to publication for inspiration. To create the striped design on the base page, use the bone folder to create evenly spaced vertical lines across the entire page; lightly sponge lines to add visual interest. When cutting pieces A and D, use White Daisy cardstock and then attach a strip of washi tape to the cardstock. This allows the circles of the washi tape to pop off the cardstock. Embellish with stamped accents, paper accents, and accessories, adding dimension with 3-D foam tape as desired.

July SOTM: Friendship Clear Pillow Box

Helpful Hints To create the techniques featured in this artwork, follow the helpful hints outlined below. Create the yo-yo as follows: cut a 1 3/4" × 12" piece of cardstock; score and fold it every 1/4"; wrap it in a circle and attach two ends together; secure to a 2" piece of paper for support. To create the thought bubble, color the Irresistibles quote with ink then stamp the sentiment. Add visual interest by wrapping a 3 1/4" × 9 1/2" piece of stamped cardstock around pillow box and attach so there is a flap on one side; attach a 3 1/4" × 1/2" piece of contrasting paper on edge and use corner rounder with guard removed to create scallop border. Embellish with paper accents and accessories, adding dimension with 3-D foam tape as desired.

Roxybonds Scrappers blog hop

Welcome to to the Roxybonds Scrappers blog hop!  This month we will be featuring artwork from the Surf's Up paper pack. If you came from Catherine's blog then you are on the right track. Here is the surprisingly simple card I made. The best part of this card is that it required NO stamping or inking so it was quick and easy to complete.  I cut the base out of Surf's Up teal cardstock at 6x12 and scored at 6".  I then cut the coordinating\g b&t papers at 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 (waves) and 5 x 5 (beach).  I used the zip strip of beach balls for accent pieces.  I also punched the girl with umbrella out of the same piece using a 1 1/4" circle punch and the teal with a 1 3/8" punch. Supplies Used: Surf's Up paper pack ( X7168B ) Your next stop on the hop is Jen Patrick of Roxybonds Scrappin.  Thank you for hopping along with us and make sure to come back next month to see what we create! Here is the complete list in case you get lost along th...

Stampers with an Attitude Hop

Welcome to the Stampers with an Attitude Blog Hop!  Thanks for joining us in sharing some Fun in the Sun to get the Summer in full swing. If you came from Sheila's blog then you are on the right track.  My project is a card featuring a retired paper pack called Moon Doggie.  I love the tropical Hawaiian theme of this paper pack and it always reminds me of soaking up the sun on a beach with one of those umbrella drinks in my hand. The best part of this card is that it required no stamping or inking so it can be completed quickly and easily with just the paper pack and coordinating my stickease. I hope you enjoyed fun in the sun with me and please continue onto Pamela's blog to enjoy some more fun. Here is the full hop line up just in case you get lost along the way.   Cat Nowak     Jen Patrick   Becky McClain   Melinda Everitt    Barbi Kelley     Sheila Bennett    Amber La Mons ~ (YOU ARE HERE) ...
