The Everything ABC's Blog Hop Letter K

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter K. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their K element will be featured in their post.

For my project I decided to make something featuring a Kite!  Since the warmer weather is finally upon us, it seemed like a natural transition for the theme of my card.  I apologize for not realizing that so many of the products I used are no longer available but I have to use up my stash somehow, right?

I used a Cricut cartridge to cut out a kite and some shadow pieces.  I also used the Artiste cartridge to cut out the sentiment piece.  I used an A size stamp set to make some clouds and fussy cut one out of a retired paper pack.  Please see my supply list below for all the specifics.

Supply List:

Colonial white card and envelope (X1410)
Cricut Artiste cartridge (Z1790)
Pacifica ink pad (Z2192)
Outdoor Denim ink pad (Z2140)
Sunset ink pad (Z2191)
Cricut Create A Critter cartridge
Dream Pop paper pack (NLA)
Dotty for You paper pack (NLA)
A Rainbow stamp set, cloud (NLA)

Whatever the crafter has chosen as their A element will be featured in their post.  For this card you will need: Avonlea paper pack ( X7155B ) Silver shimmer trim ( Z1799 ) A sentiment/image stamp Pacifica ink pad ( Z2192 ) Slate ink pad ( Z2173 ) I created a simple New Year's card using the A vonlea paper pack.  I started out with a card base of Avonlea teal cut at the standard 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" dimensions.  I then used one of the gorgrous B&T papers to cut a 3 x 4 1/4" piece.  I used two strips of our Silver shimmer Trim cut at 4 1/4" each and adhered to the top and bottom.  I then cut a piece of 2x2...

The Everything ABC's Blog Hop: Letter U

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop! For this hop we will be featuring the letter U. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their U element will be featured in their post. When I think of the letter U, I think of Unique!  What could be more Unique than your own name?  A customer requested some cards to use to give out to her friends and customers.  Her first name started with an M so here is what I created for her.  I used many retired products for this card (sorry) but I always let my customers decide what colors and papers to use. If you are ever in need of custom greeting or note cards please let me know and I will do my best for you!
